Dear Steve,

even though i didn’t know you i am greatly impressed by what you have done with apple, especially in the last few years. His ability and his remarkably keen sense of the marketplace and products where just amazing. Apple is a truly respectable, admired company — in large measure due to Steve Jobs. He didn’t know me and I don’t have any right to claim a kinship to him. But the world lost something pretty special today and I feel that loss. I’m so very sorry for the tremendous loss his family is feeling today. I pray for strength and comfort and understanding for them.
