Today it was the first day of our study trip to Istambul. Our flight was at 6 o’clock in the morning which meant for us to wake up at 2:30 to reach Stuttgart at 4 o’clock. Finally arrived and checked in we had a really expensive coffee and some breakfast at the airport to board the Germania plan at 5:20. Who knows if there is food on a 100 Euro flight. The plain was surprisingly new (10-15 years) and the flight was smooth and chilled due to the noise cancelation headphones bought in India. Finally arrived at Istanbul at 9:50 we where all very tired and due to this we started to visit the city immediately before anybody fell asleep. We walked out of the hotel in direction of the Grand Bazar here in Istanbul and where stunned when we arrived there. Unbelievable many goods to buy. Nearly everything. I went to one camera shop and found the cable i searched for the past months in germany for my camera in minutes. You can be sure at this Bazar you find everything you need.

After some hours the sunset gave us a beautiful view over Istanbul and enabled us to do unbelievable great pictures.

Tomorrow we plan to visit the Sutanahmet Camii (Blue Moschee) to get a feeling for the religion here.
